How much does driveway cleaning cost?
Most driveways in our area sit between £120 and £350 depending on size, surface and how much moss or staining there is. Use our online estimator for an instant guide price, or send a couple of photos for a firm quote.
What does it cost per square metre?
As a rough guide we charge around £2.50 to £4 per m² for standard block paving, less for larger jobs and more for badly contaminated or intricate areas. The estimator gives you a tailored figure in under a minute.
Do you reseal the driveway after cleaning?
Yes. Re-sanding block paving and sealing is an optional add-on. Sealing locks the joints, slows weed and moss return and keeps the colour looking fresh for years. We only recommend it where it actually adds life.
Can you clean resin and tarmac driveways?
Yes. Resin and tarmac need a softer touch than block paving, normally a low-pressure soft wash with a surface-safe biocide. We never blast them with high pressure as that damages the binder.
Will pressure washing damage my driveway or render?
Not when it is done properly. We match the method to the surface: soft wash on render, roof tiles and delicate stone, calibrated pressure and rotary heads on hard paving. The wrong kit in the wrong hands is what causes damage.
How long does a typical job take?
A standard driveway is usually a half to full day. Render or a full house soft wash is typically a day. We give you a realistic time slot when we quote so you can plan around it.
How often should I have it cleaned?
Most driveways and patios benefit from a clean every 2 to 3 years, sooner if shaded or under trees. A yearly biocide top-up keeps moss and algae from coming back as quickly.
Are you insured?
Yes. £2,000,000 public liability, employers' liability, DBS checked and manufacturer-certified on the chemicals we use. Paperwork available on request.
